A good brand name from experience, with a two year guarantee.Therefore a reasonably safe bet to start with. The price was also reasonable, another plus. Looks well made and I do like the feet, no jumping around on the worktop. Does everything it is meant to do, particularly impressed with the hot chocolate it can produce although the cappuccino was the reason for the purchase. It must look OK as her indoors keeps it on the worktop, when everything else is consigned to the cupboards. No problems to date, easy to clean and does the job.

This is the first time I have felt the desire to leave a review of a product as I am so delighted with it. A previous reviewer said that it did not take coffee pods so I must add that I have been using the 6mm Senseo (paper tea-bag type) pods with it including the mug-size ones - they tamp down and fit perfectly in the holder. The design and performance of this machine is far superior to the DeLonghi equivalent one I had previously. Heats up faster, a mug will fit underneath, the coffee/pod holder fits perfectly, better steam spout, makes a great crema on the espresso and lovely creamy froth for the cappuccino. Very good value in my opinion for the price.
